Where We Build Across the Charlotte Metro Area

7Acre Construction

Building Homes and remodels Around our Home in Charlotte

7Acre Construction works throughout the Charlotte metro, on both sides of the state line and licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina. Most of our remodeling happens in established neighborhoods where the houses have individual character and a couple of decades of living behind them, the kind of homes worth investing in rather than replacing.

We also build custom homes on our clients' land and take on commercial upfits for offices, retail spaces, restaurants, and medical practices across the region.

If your home, your lot, or your business is in one of the areas below, we'd be glad to talk about your project.

Most of our residential work happens inside the city, in the neighborhoods where the housing stock has real character, and the trees are older than the owners. We build in Myers Park, Eastover, Dilworth, Foxcroft, and SouthPark, where the homes reward careful renovation, and in South End, NoDa, and Plaza Midwood, where a well-designed addition or a reworked floor plan can change how the whole house lives. We also work throughout South Charlotte and Ballantyne, and we handle commercial upfits across the city.

Belmont, NC

Belmont's revitalized downtown sits near the river, surrounded by older homes that reward a thoughtful renovation. We're glad to cross the Catawba for the right project.

Graphic map of Davidson, NC.

Davidson, NC

Davidson is a walkable college town with historic homes that need to be renovated carefully and correctly. Preservation-minded work is genuinely welcome here.

Fort Mill, SC

Fort Mill is one of the fastest-growing parts of our service area, with a historic core surrounded by newer construction. We handle remodels, additions, and custom homes across both.

Graphic map of Harrisburg, NC.

Harrisburg, NC

Harrisburg has grown steadily for two decades, and its neighborhoods are now reaching the age where updates start to make sense. Kitchens, baths, and additions are the usual ask.

Indian Land, SC

Indian Land has grown quickly, with newer homes and plenty of available land in Lancaster County. We're licensed in South Carolina and build here regularly.

Indian Trail, NC

Indian Trail's family neighborhoods have reached the age where updating makes more sense than moving. Kitchens, primary suites, and reclaimed bonus space are the projects we see most often here.

Graphic map of Marvin, NC.

Marvin, NC

Marvin is quiet, spacious, and almost entirely residential, with lots large enough to leave real room to build. Custom homes and substantial additions make up most of our work here, often for owners who bought for the land and now want the house to match it.

Matthews, NC

Matthews has a real downtown and mature neighborhoods full of homes built for families who planned on staying. We do a steady amount of kitchen work and additions here for homeowners who love the location and have outgrown the layout.

Mint Hill, NC

Larger lots give us more room to work, which makes Mint Hill good territory for additions, detached garages, and ADUs. It's also one of the easier places in the metro to build a custom home on land you already own.

Graphic map of Pineville, NC.

Pineville, NC

Pineville is an older town with a practical housing stock and a short drive to almost anywhere in South Charlotte. Kitchens, baths, and whole home renovations are our common projects.

Graphic map of Tega Cay, SC.

Tega Cay, SC

Tega Cay is built along Lake Wylie, and the water shapes almost everything about the homes here. Outdoor living, additions that chase the view, and whole home renovations are our most common projects.

Graphic map of Waxhaw, NC.

Waxhaw, NC

A historic downtown anchors Waxhaw, surrounded by everything from century-old houses to newer estate lots on the edges of town. Both ends of that range give us good work, and the older homes in particular reward patience and careful detail.

Weddington, NC

Large lots and established homes make Weddington a place where renovations tend to be ambitious rather than incremental. Whole home projects and significant additions are the norm here, usually for families who plan on staying put for decades.

Our Process

1 | Initial Conversation
We start with a conversation about what you'd like to build, when you'd like it finished, and what you're comfortable investing. You'll know quickly whether we're the right company for the project.
2 | The Plan
We'll present you with a sketch plan of your project and a written scope. By the time there's a construction contract in front of you, you'll also have complete drawings and a schedule.
3 | Built, Then Backed
We walk the framing, wiring, and plumbing with you before any of it disappears behind drywall. At the end, you'll see the finished space before sign-off, with a full warranty year behind it.

Hear From Your Neighbors

"My husband and I hired 7Acre to complete a renovation to our outdoor living space and convert our garage storage room to a pool bathroom. Along the way, we had two bathrooms that needed to be renovated as well, and they were happy to assist. Throughout the course of our project, the 7Acre team was very responsive, respectful, and outstanding at communicating. It was a pleasure working with Brian Sr, Brian Jr, and John. We couldn’t be happier with what they’ve done with our house. They will be our go-to team for any work we need completed moving forward. I highly recommend them for all sorts of projects!”

Elizabeth O.

"The 7 Acre team was extremely accommodating and worked to ensure that my wife and I were completely satisfied with their work and with the overall completed project.
Working with Brian Sr., Brian Jr and John made life easy for us, giving my wife and I peace of mind that the work was being done professionally and with all the care and attention to detail required to deliver a superior product."

Bruce J.

"I interviewed several contractors for my project. At our first meeting, Brian Sr. was very clear that he wanted me to be happy with the results and get exactly what I wanted from the renovation. He and his team delivered on his promise. The first floor was pretty much gutted. I have a gorgeous kitchen, living room with added architectural details, reconfigured primary bedroom and bath. Brian Jr. was on top of all the details as the renovation progressed and went above and beyond to make the project run smoothly. I love my new home and couldn’t be happier."

Carolyn S.

"This is the second time I’ve used this team. Not only do they do excellent work, but they’ve actively defined the design work to fit my particular home vision. Their team is prompt, respectful, and does excellent work. Management (the owners) stay engaged with the project, supervise the work, and check in constantly on the project status, any needed changes, and, most importantly, my satisfaction with the work! They are definitely my team of choice. I have recommended them to other friends who’ve also been thrilled with their work and, importantly, with their ethics!"

Betty H.

"7Acre fixed a leak in a 2nd-floor shower that was visible in the kitchen below. They found the leak, fixed the bathroom tile and the kitchen ceiling. John and Brian were professional and polite, keeping us informed of every step along the way. We will call them again!"

Courtney O.

"Brian at 7Acre has been amazing with my client referrals. He’s prompt, professional, and overdelivers. My clients have ALL been satisfied, and we look forward to working on many projects in the future!"

Desiree H.

"Brian has been very responsive and has kept us updated if there have been any changes to our project. The work has progressed well, and we are looking forward to completing the project soon and moving in."
